We make prints that harness the power of colour.
At Amatus, we believe in using colours to our advantage. We do this by carefully picking specific colours for our prints that create a happy and cosy atmosphere. Every print has been designed with intention, using colour psychology as inspiration behind the designs. All our prints are designed using findings from scientific studies and experts in colour psychology.You can find details of the colour psychology behind all the colours used on each print in the description box next to each artwork.We design simple prints that are intentionally uncomplicated, only using soothing shapes that aim to be easy on the eyes and easy on the mind too.
Our prints are designed in collections; Bright Prints, Calm Prints and Kids Prints. Bright prints are made with uplifting and vibrant colours, Calm Prints are made with more subtle colours and Kids prints are made with colours suited to young children. Amatus owner and designer, Siobhan is obsessed with colour!
After studying Fine Art and a Masters in Environmental Psychology, Siobhan spent over a decade supporting small businesses in product design and the creative sector. This experience inspired Siobhan to create Amatus and use her knowledge of design and colour psychology to create beautiful art prints to lighten up as many spaces as possible.All Amatus prints aim to bring joy and relaxation.
