Amatus

Who We Are

We’re a UK-based print studio creating contemporary & colourful wall art that brings together timeless design, thoughtful colour and exceptional sustainability.

Every collection is designed in-house by Amatus Owner & Creative Director, Siobhan who has a simple philosophy: beautiful wall art should feel as joyful as it is stylish.

Our colourful, modern prints combine clean lines, organic shapes and a pared-back aesthetic. Each design is intended to create a space that feels uplifting without overwhelming the room.

Alongside vibrant statement pieces, we also create calming collections in softer palettes, as well as playful designs for children's bedrooms and nursery’s.

Colour Psychology

Colour is at the heart of everything we do. Inspired by colour psychology, every artwork is created using carefully selected palettes chosen for the mood they evoke – from energising yellows and joyful corals to tranquil greens and soothing blues. We explain the colour psychology behind every print, helping you choose artwork that complements both your interior and the atmosphere you want to create.

See our Colour Psychology Guide for more information on specific colour attributes.

Sustainability

Sustainability is woven into every stage of our business. We design and print everything in the UK using renewable energy, and every order is shipped in 100% plastic-free packaging. We also donate a portion of our profits to the Union of Concerned Scientists.

About the Name

Amatus [amata, amatum]: loved, beloved, having been loved.

Our name comes from the Latin word amatus, meaning "loved" or "beloved". This felt like the perfect name for us as we create timeless prints that are designed to outlast fleeting trends and become pieces you'll love living with for years to come.
